HELP CENTERS & CLINICS
After years of dedicated vision and community support, Catholic Charities of East Tennessee proudly introduced our Mobile Ultrasound Unit, designed to serve rural communities where healthcare access is limited. This state-of-the-art mobile unit offers free pregnancy tests, early ultrasounds, STI testing, and prenatal vitamins, ensuring women receive compassionate, professional care right in their own communities. By bringing these vital services directly to those who need them most, we empower individuals with critical early care, education, and resources, fostering healthier futures across the region.
Our Pregnancy Help Centers are a cornerstone of support for women and families facing unplanned or challenging pregnancies. In addition to free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, and compassionate guidance, we offer our Baby Bucks program, a practical way for parents to earn essential baby supplies through educational participation. By attending classes on parenting, prenatal care, life skills, and more, clients earn “Baby Bucks” that can be used to shop for items like diapers, clothing, , and car seats. It’s our way of empowering parents with both knowledge and tangible support as they prepare for the road ahead.
TENNESSEE STRONG FAMILIES
In March 2024, Catholic Charities of East Tennessee launched the TN Strong Families Program through a grant from the State of Tennessee to support pregnant women across East Tennessee. This program provides essential services including rent and utility assistance, transportation, food, baby supplies, and access to free educational classes. Open to anyone who is pregnant or living in a household with a pregnant individual, the program aims to identify and meet the real needs of expectant families while addressing service gaps in rural and underserved communities.
