CHILDREN'S EMERGENCY SHELTER

The Children’s Emergency Shelter and Assessment Center (CESAC) provides 24/7 care for children from birth to 17 years old who have been removed from their homes due to allegations of abuse or neglect. Located in Knoxville, CESAC offers a safe and nurturing environment where children receive shelter, meals, and support while awaiting placement in foster care or with relatives. The center is equipped to meet the immediate needs of children during this critical transition period.
