Tuition Evaluation

 

The Tuition Evaluation program works with Catholic families who wish to enroll their children in Catholic schools but may lack the financial resources to do so. Tuition Evaluation counselors meet with the families to review household income and budgets; counselors then make tuition support recommendations to the parish pastors, who make the final decisions on fund allocations. Catholic Charities neither collects nor administers the tuition support funds.

In addition to assessment, the counselors assist the families by providing resources and information on ways to reduce debt and improve overall financial health.

Families who are requesting tuition support for the first time must request application forms from the school they wish their child to attend.

Tuition Support applications for the 2015-2016 school year will be available at all Knox Area Catholic Schools beginning in November 2014.
