- THE 11th ANNUAL FIGHTING IRISH SPRING CLASSIC
The Spring Classic is East Tennessee’s premier high school baseball event, now in its 11th year. A doubleheader featuring teams from leading public and private schools. The event is held at beautiful Smokies Park in Sevierville, Tennessee, home of the Tennessee Smokies, an AA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs. 12:30pm - Home Run Hitting Contest featuring players and coaches 1:30pm - Pre-game concert by Grace Christian Academy Senior Ensemble 2:00pm - Grace Christian Academy Rams vs Knoxville Christian School Knights 3:30:pm - Between games concert by Jefferson County High School Chorus 4:00pm - Knoxville Catholic High School Fighting Irish vs Jefferson County High School Patriots Special Appearances by: Knoxville Christian Youth Band and St. Mary's School Crusader Ensemble Proceeds from the Fighting Irish Spring Classic go to Catholic Charities of East Tennessee’s Pregnancy & Adoption Services, helping to build families among the most vulnerable people of this region.

A festival and one-mile fun walk featuring inflatables, games and prizes, complimentary refreshments and more. All proceeds benefit Columbus Home Children's Services.

- 5th Annual Common Good Classic Golf Tournament
The Common Good Classic is held each year at Cherokee Country Club’s prestigious 18-hole golf course and country club facilities. With a relaxed atmosphere, the open tournament offers afternoon competition on the challenging Donald Ross course and a club-catered brunch and hors d’oeuvres reception with hosted bar provided by Knoxville’s best chef, David Pinckney. Now in its fourth successful year, the tournament is sure to be a sell-out. The event is a fundraiser for all Catholic Charities programs in the greater Knoxville area.
