CCUSA is the nation's third largest social service agency, founded in 1910. Catholic Charities of East Tennessee was incorporated in 1989 and offers a variety of shelter, hunger relief, counseling, outreach and children's services throughout 36 counties. Catholic Charities serves those in need, regardless of race, religion or ability to pay. In East Tennessee, fewer than 5 percent of Catholic Charities clients are Catholic.
